Performing magic unlocks the truth

I sit still, while listening to Israel Kamakakiwo’oles Somewhere over the Rainbow. My two brothers work their planning. Two Livinstone palms enrich the air with oxygen. Climate control cares for a comfortable temperature. Sunlight enters our office by through 4 large windows, while I enjoy the endless possibilities of this Macbook.

I recall the previous performances at ‘Parktheater’ in Eindhoven. Privileged with the opportunity to be a part of the play ‘Jane Eyre’ I enjoy my memories. 4 performances, 4 standing ovations. I take care for the music while performing as the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. I perform together with a variety of wonderful life-experiences. Three beautiful women, respectively 99, 97 and 95 years of age, have already taken care for the purest real-life inspiration of my 2012. My daily life’s filled with emotions and influence my way of working, eating, hugging and sleeping. One 64 year old woman had lost her voice 4 years ago in the middle of her career as a opera-singer. She shines as bright as a star at the end of the play. She communicates by through a computer and I back her up with a live performance on CD 8 years ago in Carre, the famous theater in Amsterdam. An abundance of talents fill the empty spaces of time in between scenes. Words fall short describing this phenomenal work of art, produced by the director and ‘Gretchen am Spinnrade’ Ivo van Megen. Wonder remains play by play, leaving me feeling emotionally exhausted and grateful for this priceless collection of experiences. Being only 24 years old I realize to be a very lucky young man. Not only for performing with this team of beautiful souls, but mainly for the motivation to live my life with passion…

Tonight will be the 5th and therefore the last performance. Sigh, Goosebumps…
