Why you should consider yourself a millionaire

Have you ever wondered how it would feel if you’d be a millionaire? Multi-millionaire? Or a billionaire? What does it actually mean to you if you’re in the possession of more money than you can imagine? Does it actually feel GOOD? Do these amounts of money eliminate your worries? What is money actually?

Money is nothing more than a current medium of exchange. It has been widely accepted a long time ago. Back in the old days you had to create a product or provide a service to trade it for food, clothes and later on for soap, a bike and other things you needed. Our life standards were low; we wanted to live and survive the cold so we could nurture our children. Nowadays our life standards vary along the world. You’re probably reading this on your computer, notepad, mobile phone or someone elses. In the western world most people don’t have to worry about surviving anymore. No, they worry about smaller things, luxurious things, fancy things which provide short-term happy feelings. Things, things and things. Things they have to trade for money.

So, money is not the point of focus when it comes down to be a millionaire, multimillionaire or billionaire. No, not at all, it comes down to all the stuff you’re able to buy with money and ‘make your own. ’You’ll carry all the money along on a single bank- or creditcard, so you won’t have to worry about losing it. You are free to worry about something entirely different. Instead of the absence of worry, you exchange your fear of poverty for another fear. In the worst case scenario your fear of poverty would only grow stronger because you’re now able to lose the money you desired.

‘Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex… It takes a touch of genius – and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.’  – Albert Einstein

Being a millionaire, multimillionaire or billionaire doesn’t eliminate your worries or solve your problems single-handedly. No, not all. If you haven’t created money as part of your plan to happiness, it will drag you along the road to poverty and misery. Your life will become complexer than before. Freedom will probably move further away. Maybe you’ll lose yourself as well, who knows. Your thoughts can take you anywhere. And today’s world has all the possibilities you can think of. So you can create whatever you want. But you first have to choose your destination. Your heart gives you directions, and you only have to listen to hear it. It all starts with a dream, the plan will follow, the only thing you have to do is to take action upon the plan. I suggest to make money a part of your plan, cause what’s today’s life without money…
