Great moments are born from great opportunity

I have the dream to be visual artist, inspiring millions of people all over the world with the artworks I make. I am fortunate to have already two art projects under my name. Shair and The Tree of Respect are both successfully completed artworks, realized in public space. Though some artists never get the chance to do something like this during their entire carreer, I have. And this is only the beginning for me. As I am growing older, so is my ambition and today I’m taking a step towards further realization of that ambition. There is an...

Use this magic to understand what we do!

Use this magic to understand what we do!

Imagine with me. It’s early in the morning on a cold winter day when a young boy wakes up from a dream. Though it’s cold in his little room, the young boy steps out of bed to get himself prepared for another day of work. Today is a special day. It’s a day in which the young boy will work hard. He is keen to work hard because he is dedicated and passionate about fullfilling a mission. You can even say it’s a secret mission, since he and his two friends are the only ones who know what the mission really is. The three...

Is this the way you want to work every day?

Is this the way you want to work every day?

Rain falls down on my car’s windscreen. I breathe in and smile while closing my eyes. The warm piano tones, the lovely voice of Norah Jones  and the sound of little drops of water falling on the canvas-rooftop makes my mind wonder. I smile again while observing the places my mind is taking me. I open my eyes and slowly drive off into the dark gloom of the night. The roads are empty and as I drive further and further I feel relaxation falling over me. It’s  like a warm clothe of whool covering my shoulders, back and chest. I am...

This is why money works

This is why money works

Money. “What would you do if money didn’t matter?” I’ve asked you this question in my previous blog. Well, what would you do?  And why aren’t you doing it right now? The answer is simple: because money matters. In order to continue living together the way we are at the moment, we need money. Money is a world-wide accepted medium of exchange. People trade with eachother,  and trading goes best when traders have something to trade of which the other wants. And money has just that. Almost everyone wants money, and...

Do you take your time for life?

Do you take your time for life?

Do you? Assuming you are spending your days on Earth, you have an average of 67.2 years before your life ‘comes to an end’. In other words, you have 24.528 days: a total of 588.672 hours! Taking into account you like to enjoy some sleep every now and then. And assuming you are a lazy sleeper, sleeping 10 hours a day, you have 343.392 hours left to spend. Threehundredandfortythreethousandthreehundredandninetytwo hours! That’s a pretty extensive collection of hours, don’t you think? Enough with the numbers, but can you...

Are you part of my blog-pie?

I‘ve been writing and posting blogs for a little while now. Trying out different ways of writing, different subjects and various places where I write my blogs (I’m actually outside in the forest now. Sitting at a picnic-table in the cold wind, trying to keep the blood flowing through my fingers while enjoying the afternoon-sunrays on my face). Blogging is an amusing thing to do. As a blogger you can decide when you want to blog, where you want to blog about and where you want to be while blogging. Freedom is yours! So if you are a...

Pure stupidity; I’m a hurry to take it easy

Pure stupidity; I’m a hurry to take it easy

Hmm..      finally, I have found peace of mind again. I’ve been rushing since 14:00 this afternoon. To-do’s: finish the print-dimensions of Marbles & Tees,  design hang-tags and dimensions, clean up, go home, get my stuff, leave home, catch a train, go to Coffee Lovers and write and publish my blog post while enjoying a lovely cup of coffee, all within 3 hours. Way too many things to do, in a way too short period of time. Trying to catch up with this planning leaves me tired, uncomfortable and unsatisfied with...

Why should you give up on your dream?

Why should you give up on your dream?

It’s late in the afternoon when I arrive. From where I park my car it is about an hour and a half walk through thick bushes, over stretched green hills covered with thousands of colorful flowers, near steep valley’s and across  the beautiful wooden suspension bridge over the river. Walking here is as if I am walking around in a scenery pictured in a traveling brochure; it’s literally breath-taking. In fact, it’s even more than that. There is much more to enjoy than just the view. I can hear the breeze going through the...
